Check your CPU while this happens, if it hits 100% it's overheating. Either get a better cooler, or clear the dust from it (or both). It doesn't drop to 10 fps or 15 or 20, it literally goes from 60 to 0 for 3 seconds, then back to 60.

however when I run league of legends of MINIMUM settings I get 50 fps-60 fps and putting no caps on fps. I know its using the nvidia card displays LOL as being played on it: -reinstalling LOL. -reparing all corrupt files. -installed most recent drivers for Nvidia using the GeForce program. -changing settings to make LOL specifically use the Nvidia.

I re installed LoL last night and removed Pando before the install even finished. For some reason I know get 120 FPS of highest setting when I only got 60 FPS before. I also installed it on a SSD which in theory shouldn't matter but maybe I'm wrong.
Even if the monitor only refreshes 60 times per second having higher FPS means the frame it displays will be more up to date and result in a smoother experience. I got a GTX 770 2GB . I reinstalled League because it is known to help improve FPS. I now get 150~ FPS at start of match, 80-110~ after laneing commences. Used to get 290~300 FPS at start and 250~ when laneing starts. :( I regret the reinstall. I get the same FPS no matter what graphic settings.
